on Tropical Surgery

Dear Colleagues,

the German Society of Tropical Surgery and the Study Group for Surgery in Developing Countries of the German Society of Surgery invite you to their 13th International Symposium on Tropical Surgery having as a motto LINKING OUR KNOWLEDGE. It's held from 18th to 20th October 2007 in Ludwigsburg, Germany.

LINKING OUR KNOWLEDGE means to share, distribute and coordinate specific knowledge and experience in the wide field of adapted surgery in restricted circumstances, such as economic disadvantaged health systems, rural setups, development aid, and disaster situations. The symposium aims to be a global forum for doctors, nurses, medical teachers and health workers who want to improve their work by exchanging knowledge and to tie a sustainable network for the future. You are welcome to participate with us and present your work about the mentioned topics and adjoinig fields like gynecology/obstetrics, anaesthesia, nursing and medical education as well as economic, ethic and political implications.
